Discover how we choose our products

When we choose a product for Fabulary Store, we always ask ourselves the same question: is there a study (or tradition) that supports it, or are we taking something for granted?

The difference matters. And "natural" does not mean "proven."

That is why we divide every benefit into two categories, never mixing them:

🔬 Clinical evidence — there is a peer-reviewed study, specific to that species, that supports the stated benefit. You will find it linked directly on the product page.

🌿 Traditional use — the benefit is based on observation, experience, or tradition, but not on a clinical study specific to that species. We don't discard it for this reason—the fact that there is no study does not mean it doesn't work—but we do not pass it off as something it is not.

We use the exact same method when we evaluate a brand to include in the shop, and when we write a blog article. If we don't have the study, we don't present it as if we did.

There is one thing, however, that I want to be clear about: what you find here are curiosities, not medical advice. They never replace the opinion of your veterinarian or whoever is truly caring for your animal—they are additional tools to understand what is behind a product, not a reason to skip a visit when needed.

And that is precisely why we call them "Curiosities from science" and "Curiosities from tradition," and not "advice" or "recommendations": we want to inform you, not replace those who are actually looking after your animal.

It's not marketing. It is the way we would want someone to give us the opportunity to choose products for our own animals.
